I am committed to, and passionately believe in, the therapeutic process. Through my own life’s journey and experiences I am able to offer empathy and care to all my clients.
My approach is humanistic and integrative. This means that I draw from different therapeutic theories and techniques. My aim is to establish a safe place where, in partnership, we can try to discover the reasons for your difficulties and how to move forward in your life.
I work with a variety of issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, bereavement and work related struggles such as redundancy.
Having over 12 years experience in individual and group therapy and a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have worked in organisations such as Childline, Marie Curie Hospice, Grief Encounter and with BUPA as a psychotherapist. I currently work in IAPT for the NHS and am a tutor in psychotherapy for the Counselling Foundation.
